Hi,
Thank you for providing this useful application.

The problem I have is I cannot launch the program.
Computer system: Win XP professional SP3.

I downloaded and installed FLV Knife 0.0.3.
When launching FLV Knife I get the following message:

Executable 'C:\Program Files\FLVKnife\FLVKnife.exe'had the following unrecoverable error:
Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll (required by C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL) Please ensure that it is installed.

When I go to the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12 I can see the file.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled FLV Knife but still have the same problem.

Is there a fix for this?

thanks

I would recommend trying flvtool2.exe via command-line to see if the problem is the gui or the exe. you can also check the flvtool2-mailinglist if the problem is a wrong behaviour of the exe: http://rubyforge.org/mail/?group_id=1096

Hi,
i didn't get how to insert cuepoints in my flv that flash can read. Every try ends up with an "undefined" statement in the output panel. How must the metadata looks like that i can control an movieclip in my swf?

When the cut markers show up NaN the metadata is not found. did you try to inject metadata first?

Everything seems to work except for the Cut function. My flv files do have metadata but the cut markers read "NaN Sec" so it's really very hard to do a precision cut on time which is what I need. Is there some setting or something perhaps in XP which might be causing this?

Also would be nice if on the cut page the cut markers also determined start ad stop playing points. I guess this could be the case if the time displayed correctly but I'm not sure.

I know it's in the alpha stage so it's all understandable. I'm very interested in this project.

Thanks.
