Flex goes Open Source

Adobe announced that Flex 3 will be released Open Source.

In Flex 2 the framework was already Open Source but in Flex 3 also the ActionScript core classes and the compiler will be released Open Source.

This year I have started to work for Adobe as a contractor and since March I have a fulltime position in Hamburg. I am developing with Flex all day and I am very excited about the impact the Open Source strategy will give to Flex development.
