I was looking for a Flex component which acts like the iTunes view where you can browse through your covers.

Ely Greenfield made a wonderful component which exactly does it. He calls the component DisplayShelf and you find his blog post here with source and example.

with these settings (made on the slider bars):
.24 pop
13.9 angle

2.) must work / be developed for the Flash 9 plugin

3.) using above with want to use for our 45 videos on our current videos page:
http://getthebar.com/help_videos.php
a.) use our existing video controller look shown here.

so we want the images of our videos in the component, then when user clicks the selected image the video plays for that topic.

we have a small budget of $400, and would love this component working to show our videos.
