this should work in the latest version in the svn or which version did you use?
To get support for Swizyou should subscribe to the list http://groups.google.com/group/swiz-framework and put your questions there.

Swiz was creating new listeners every time the component was added to stage.

This was causing the same method to be called multiple times.

I have a sample application published and running using Swiz.
